Stephen Clark
Managing Director
Steve has lived and breathed the building industry since the age of 18, starting as a labourer and going on to become a suspended Ceiling Fixer and Dryliner. Advancing his expertise, he joined a construction company as a Site Manager, then spent the next 15 years as a Contracts Manager.
He then decided to use his vast knowledge and experience to establish Clarks Construction as a professional but affordable building contractor.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and football.
Charlie Clark
Contracts Manager
Charlie started with Clarks Construction from day one as Contracts Manager. As project manager, he oversees all building construction projects from start to completion.
This ‘hands-on’ experience positions him as the perfect point of contact to develop and manage productive relationships with clients.
Outside work, Charlie enjoys going to the gym, playing video games and spending time with his family.
Mitchell Eyers
Estimator
Mitchell has spent 6 years in the construction industry, firstly working for a reputable groundworks and concrete frame company for 1 year and then spending 5 years at a leading industrial and commercial contractor working on projects up to £35 million.
This has enabled him to effectively price tenders and build relationships with new and existing clients.
Outside work, Mitchell enjoys playing football, going to music events and spending time with his family.
Jack Jones
Junior Estimator
Jack has 1.5 years of experience in the construction industry, working for a groundworks, tarmac, and landscaping company, complemented by his Level 3 sports coaching qualification from college.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, going to the gym, and spending time with his family.
Matt House
Operations Manager
Matt has over 20 years experience within the construction industry managing multi projects with various sectors such as healthcare, education, residential, blue light, top end residential and many more just to mention a few.
Matt started his career as a mechanical engineer, implementing PPM processes for many of his client’s needs and then progressing into site, project, contracts and operations management which conveys his diverse and multi disciplined experience and approached to the construction industry.
Matt prides himself with dedicated customer services and developing long lasting relations with staff, supply chain partners and clients alike by providing accurate reporting, costings and achievable project programmes to the benefit of all parties involved.
In Matt’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, socializing , playing multiple sports, golf, football, pool and darts, works hard/play hard seems to be his moto which we have welcomed at Clark’s.

Patricia Connelly
Accounts Manager
Pat, a veteran of the building construction industry, previously worked as Secretary for a high-end joinery and Stone Masonry business.
Having worked with Steve previously, she joined Clarks in 2022 as Accounts Manager, responsible for managing the business’s finances.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking, gardening, holidays, listening to music and dancing around the kitchen.
